This newest radio is replacement to the X108G and has incorporated a auto tuner as well in. It is not much larger then the X108G was but has some great features.
Here is a list of specifications of the G90 transceiver:
Specifications
Receive frequency range: 0.5MHz to 30MHz
Operating voltage range: 12 ~ 15V DC
Transmitting frequency range: all amateur bands in the range of 1.8 to 29.999 MHz

Thanks to Wayne 2E0BVJ here are some side by side shots of the G90 and the X108G
Xiegu has already done some upgrades to the firmware and this radio really seems to be on the right track for performance and features.

Thanks for all the info and videos Fred. I just bought one last night on a whim, (late night, credit card out, two martinis deep), then I started watching all your videos. I am absolutely amazed, and will surely not be disappointed!
ReplyDeletethis radio does have a noise reducer for reduce the noise floor? variable rf gain?
ReplyDeletehas anyone tried a Heil Pro7 IC with Heil AD1 ICM adapter on the XIEGU G90?
ReplyDeleteit looks to me like the mic connectors are wire the same.
Will I blow something if I try it?
